LETTER FROM
THE EDITOR (AND BEYOND)
Dear Reader,
Hello, and welcome to the November
15th edition of eModel Magazine. I’m A.M. Silver, the
new editor here. Please allow me a moment to laud myself under
the guise of introduction. I’m a former sumo wrestler
forced into retirement by bulimia, an expert on metaphysical
home improvement, a leading Icelandic secret (whoops) agent,
and while I didn’t invent the wheel, I did perfect it.
The authorized biography is bit less sensational, but after
learning the ropes in the lost art of print media, I’m
excited to bring my skills to an ezine (less paper cuts).
You can imagine how disappointed I was to learn that eModel
is not about Internet business plans.
I have been assured that co-founders
Buddy Mix and Eric Walker are ecstatic to have me aboard—further
proof that my powers of hypnosis are getting stronger. I’m
looking forward to working with Nico del Castillo as well
as some talented writers bent on world domination, but willing
to settle for posting articles on this site. While it may
take some time, I hope to shape eModel into the kind of magazine
that will make you want to go out and buy a computer, or fourteen.
My motto is “Never say nie” (it tested better
than “Get rich or die tryin’”). Who knows,
maybe some day people will bookmark us simply because “they
read the articles.” Yes, I’m a dreamer. No, I’m
not clinically insane.
The beautiful Carrie Minter is this
month’s cover girl. We couldn’t ask for anyone
better to be the face of the new magazine. However, I urge
you to take a look at some of the articles as well. There
will be a test to follow.
Enjoy the features and be sure to check
back in as we will be adding additional material to poison
your mind (in a beautiful way). The next few months will be
a period of transition as we mold this magazine into an entertainment
machine. Think of it like reconstructive surgery, only more
fun.
--A.M. Silver
