Are You Ready for $7.00 Gas!

By Eric Walker

Back in our May/June 2006 issue I wrote an article about the oil companies and how they control what we pay for a gallon of gas entitled The Real American Will & UNREAL Gasoline Prices. I was mad as hell that we were paying $2.47 cents a gallon proclaiming and predicting that at the current pace we would be up to $5.00 a gallon within a few more years. Well guess what? We are approaching $5 a gallon just like I said we would and you can now add the speculators to my list of people whom need to be thrown in jail or put out of businesses like the oil company execs. Last week they were predicting oil could go as high as $200 a barrel and should it do that are you really ready to pay $7.00 for a gallon of gas!

I admit I was totally wrong about Real American Will. We don't have any more American Will because most of this nation is inhabited now by either a bunch of uneducated idiots that make us all a little dumber for being American or people who just don't care. I hope I am wrong about this because I was once a very proud American. But all of this and 8 years with the two oilmen in the White House have driven this country into the ground. My wife is studying to become an American citizen and I was so proud of that fact until she got to the question about who the current American president is. She speaks with a thick accent and pronounced his name as Jail Bush instead of George. I started laughing hysterically and thought wishful thinking.

I am just so sick and tired of the excuses for the price of oil to continue to rise is insane. Everyone I know is driving less. Last month I spent $145 on gasoline and I am sure some people reading this are saying that's not that much what is this idiot's problem? My problem is that is what I used to also spend 2 years ago when I was complaining about the $2.47 gallon of gas! So I have cut my driving and gas consumption by 50%. A recent survey of Americans shows that nearly 70% of Americans have cut their driving down somewhat. 90% said in that same survey that they plan ahead so they can get more than one thing done if they are driving. If they know they have to go to the market and also the hardware store one week, they will do both in the same trip and so on. So my question to you is where is all that oil going?

If we do not wake up in this country and pass some laws to stop speculation in the oil market place we all get what we disserve. The excuses are endless and change from day to day. It used to be called a supply and demand issue.

Now they have added;

1. A weak dollar.

2. China needs to much oil.

3. Iran is testing missiles.

4. Nigeria rebels.

5. Speculators.

So what's their execuse going to be next? Too many people are riding motobikes in Vietnam?

As I said in my past article, here are several things we can do: Number one we can throw a few of these oil executive money hungry, price gauging whores in prison and let bubba show them exactly what it feels like taking it up the yazoo, again, and again, year after year. I am sure even the thought of this, if it gets circulated to enough people and congress acts, would scare the oil executives into lowering oil prices now.

I know everyone wants to blame the Middle East and our dependence on foreign oil, right? The people in the Middle East are scarred of what we will do. So much so that in recent weeks they are making statements about increasing demand if it is needed. Yet it is not needed and there is no shortage of oil like in the 70's. This is all about executives at Exxon Mobil and Speculators whom both need to spend some time behind bars in prison. If the Arabs are scarred of what we will do and their market being killed by the big oil companies and speculators that should tell us something.

Recently I was watching a news story on CNN about a guy who created an engine with 350 horse power that he put in a classic Ford Mustang. The car gets 150 miles per gallon with his modifications. So I say enough of these dumb hybrids that only get 45-60 miles per gallon. In Brazil the country is totally dependent of foreign oil and imports not one drop of foreign oil. That is because of sugar cane ethanol. They got fed up in the 70's and said never again. That is what we have to do in this country is get fed up and get the American Will back that I talked about a few years ago!

If we do not then I predict the $7.00 gas coming soon! And even beyond that maybe if we continue to be a bunch of idiots and put up with it we deserve $10 a gallon which is what they are paying now in some European countries.

Lastly as I did last time, I invite anyone reading this article to post it, email it, spam it, everywhere!!! So please be my guest and copy this article and pass it on. Let’s show the oil companies that indeed American Will can come back and is very real. Imagine that, I still have hope.
