Several Minutes of Minutiae with Haylee Le (Tina Nguyen) Photographer Sean McCall

eModel Magazine had the unique chance to interview Veteran photgrapher Sean McCall. Sean has photographed many famous celebrities ranging from Angelina Jolie to Comedian Chris Farley. He also photographed eModel Magazine Model Tina Nguyen who later became known as Haylee Le.

Sean was nice enough to answer some of our questions with his busy schedule and provide us with some of his photographs of Haylee Le and some other models.

Q: What got you interested in photography?

A: I was fascinated at an early age (11 or thereabouts) with the process of being able to capture and document a moment in time. Within short order I was able to convince my parents that a good birthday gift would be a camera; a Pentax Spotmatic with a few lenses. Then, to both their and our housekeeper’s chagrin, I took over a spare bathroom and built a B&W darkroom

Q: How long have you been a photographer?

A: Professionally for approximately 20 years.

Q: How did you get started doing Nude photography?

A: During my film studies I had been extraordinarily impressed with the way the Studio System of Hollywood’s “Golden Age”  portrayed their great stars (during the 1930’s thru the 1940’s); particularly the works of George Hurrell and C.S. Bull. I set out on a purely aesthetical path to produce glamorous imagery using these lost film lighting techniques. Fortunately I came across a model that fit perfectly into that old Hollywood “look” and began my long term collaboration with Dita Von Teese.

Q: How did you find and discover and meet Haylee Le?

A: I photographed her for an agency called Number 1 Models that is next to the Studios I use.

Q: Haylee Le is known to eModel Magazine readers as Tina Nguyen, was that her name when you met her or did you help her come up with her modeling and adult film star name?

A: As far as I know her agent, Sascha, came up with her new “stage name”.

Q:  Since you took the first nude pictures of Haylee Le. How was Haylee to work with? Was it difficult to get her to take her cloths off?

Until I saw this question I did not realize I shot the first nudes of Haylee. She was very easy to work with and all of the sets were shot very quickly.

Q: How may sets did you shoot for Haylee?

I believe we shot a total of 3 sets.

Editor Note: Haylee Le aka Tina Nguyen shot 4 days for eModel Magazine in over 38 different sets which also includes a lot of video that has never been released.

To read the complete Sean McCall interview and also see Haylee Le's nudes totally exposed once inside the members areas you will be provided a link to that website for you viewing.
